The umps of course blow the call and give him the HR despite you seeing the ball be foul by like 8 feet. With 29 games left to go for both teams, and with each Twins victory, the SOX are finding themselves in a harder and harder position to win this division.
8 games ago, when the Twins held a 4.5 game lead on us, they've gone a nice 5-3, while the SOX needed those same 8 games to only gain 1/2 game going 6-3. With 29 games to go, and the Twins currently on a 18-11 pace (95 wins), the SOX unfortuneatly are going to have to go 23-6 (96 wins) the rest of September to catch the Twins.

Brewers on Deck, while a one day festival, is still a better value for any baseball fan vs Soxfest in it's current form.

$15 adult tix in advance(20 at the door), $9 for kids in advance(15 at the door), and if you buy before October 3(tix are on sale NOW), you get FREE tickets to an April Game!(Yes, they're mon-thurs games, but free's free)

Some Autograph stations you have to pay to get, but most are free($25 for Ryan Braun's autograph isnt a bad deal). And each station is capped at 250 autograph tickets, to be as fair as possible.

Soxfest? $250 hotel room PLUS $75 PER PERSON for a three day pass. no discount for kids.

And then there's the UPGRADE FEE of $250 to get a better chance at autographs, cuz the $75 per person crowd has to wait in cattle calls even after they got thier wristband.

And if you're lucky to not have to buy a hotel package, it's still $70 for a two day pass, or $50 for saturday, $35 for sunday. no friday admission unless you have a hotel badge. Of course, the best media sessions and discussions are always on friday.

Oh, and no free ticket to an april sox game.

Cmon Sox, we deserve better.

Oh, and did i mention the site of the Brewers on Deck festival is the same as the 2002 MLB ALL STAR FANFEST? TWO levels of Brewer baseball for thier fans?

Soxfest? One of the oldest hotels in chicago, and close to being the smallest. With confusing festival halls and awkward design.
