It's not definite that he's out for the season. They're gonna wait two weeks to re-evaluate and he may need Tommy John surgery then.
Too bad for him, but definitely better for us....

Joe Nathan is definitely out for 2010, I cannot see him "resting" the elbow and pitching this season. So good news for SOX fans.
But then again, the Twins always have someone lurking in the wings, ready to step up. I wouldn't be surprised if Jon Rauch somehow steps it up, and saves 30 for them. Par for the course
